How long does it take to complete a website?
It depends on the package and services you choose, but usually our designers have a first draft within a month and then take a few more weeks to polish everything up.
Where do you get all of the photos and content from?
You should already have lots of content we can use; your logo, illustrations used inside your books, photos of you as an author, pictures of your books on a shelf, and so on. We have our own illustrators and designers who can compliment this with assets and designs that match your theme.
And if you don’t have anything we can use? Our marketing team can help you out!
Can I sell my books on my website?
Yes! We can provide secure, safe links to payment gateways so you can sell your physical books and any other products, or we can set up a checkout so customers can shop using Amazon or any other preferred retailer through your site.
Once my website is made, do you market it for me?
We don’t include marketing packages with our websites, however if you need help marketing then send us an email and we can chat about what services our marketing team can offer you!

What security do you provide to protect me and my visitors?
We take online security very seriously. All of our sites have a secure SSL certificate installed and if you’ve chosen to take payments inside your site, then we will install the proper protocols in accordance with current laws to ensure all visitors are safe when using your site.
We also install spam detection services and firewalls as part of every package to protect you and your visitors.
Do you write the text and content?
We will ask you for the written content such as your author bio, an introduction into your books and what inspired you, and so on, and use this as the copy on your site.
If you don’t want to use your own words you can use our copywriting add-on and we will have our professional editor and marketing expert collaborate on writing compelling copy for the entire site for you.
I know absolutely nothing about how websites work, do I have to do anything when it is finished?
Not at all! You can leave the website running and never log into the technical side of things if you really don’t want to!
However we have created an in-depth and easy to follow guidebook for our authors which helps you learn all about your website and how to manage it. It includes help on basic tasks like how to login and change your password all the way up to complex activities such as creating blog articles.
Can I have a blog on my website?
Yes! We can set up a professional blog, and show you how to post articles.
Once my site is finished, can I or another company I hire, make changes or mess around with it?
Once completed, your site is yours to do whatever you want with. While we will be hosting it for the first year, you can make changes, add content, delete content, hire other companies to work on it or just play around and see what happens.
We must stress though, that we are not responsible if you or someone you have hired breaks the coding of the website. Rebuilding a site that has been broken takes a lot of work and will incur an extra fee.

Maintenance fees
Your site already comes with technical updates, regular backups, support and help. However if you want us to do some additional work that isn’t included in your package, it’s good to know what kind of fees you might be looking at in the future.
